Composition Challenge

Last day we had a composition challenge. We had to take pictures using the 5 rules of composition. We could only take them inside the high school because outside was freezing. This is a good way to learn the 5 rules. These are my 5 pictures:

1. Leading lines

2. Rule of 3rds

3. Patterns

4. Frames

5. Fill the frame

BIG PROJECT - Working on Ansel Adams

In the second quarter we have to work on our Big Project. The Big Project consists in taking pictures as a famous photographer that we have chosen and knowing everything about his life, which style he used to take pictures, his photography career and some of his biography.
We have approximately 1 month to work on this, and we have already started.

Each week we have to write about our process in this project, and post 3 images that we have taken as our photographer.

I chose Ansel Adams. I think that he is just an amazing photographer and all his images are great. Ansel Adams took pictures both in black and white and in color. I chose in color because I especially like taking pictures of landscapes with their natural color.
These are my first 3 photographs as Ansel Adams' style.
