ALFRED STEIGLEZ

Alfred Steiglez was born in 1864, January 1st, in New Jersey and he died in 1946 in New York City. He was an American photographer and modern art promoter.
He is known for his fotography and also for the New York art galleries that he ran where he introduced some European artists to the U.S.

He took pictures to landscapes, people, streets and nudes. His pictures are mostly in black and white, but he also used a kind of light brown color for them.

This picture is called ''Winter- Fifth Avenue''. As we can see, is taken in New York City in winter. I really like it because the snow is moving and that is what makes the picture special. This picture makes you think in old memories because it's kind of old.

I like this picture because it's very nice, it's lovely and transmits happiness and pleasant.

This picture is also very pleasant and beautiful. I really like taking and seeing pictures like this.
